A: A Perryville Place is a 4.2-acre, 75,000-square-foot commercial space being developed into a high-quality, mixed-use property. Located at 6957 Olde Creek Road along the west side of Perryville Road near Spring Creek Road, A Perryville Place consists of four glass and steel buildings connected by glass-enclosed sky-bridges. Each four-story building is built at a different angle with undulating landforms and lighting. Surrounded by a park-like main plaza with water features, first floors are dedicated to high-end salon, fitness, dining and entertainment. The second, third and fourth floors are dedicated to office and medical spaces

A: A Perryville Place property was bought several years ago. The development plans began in 2000 when Summit Real Estate Development was founded.

A: Summit Real Estate has received a warm welcome from it’s a Perryville Place neighbors. Summit Real Estate has been forthcoming with information since day one.

 

Q: Who are the architects for A Perryville Place?

A: Alex Stark, who resides in New York, is an internationally recognized consultant and graduate of the Yale University School of Architecture. Alex advises on issues of design and placement for homes, businesses and corporations.

David Barrett, founder of Barrett Studio in Boulder, CO, is an award-winning architect with spirit and passion for design. David is also a professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

 

Q: Why the architects from Colorado, New York?

A: It was important to Summit Real Estate Developments to incorporate the popular multi-use, pedestrian components found in many places so many people travel to these days (Colorado, Arizona, California, etc). Summit Real Estate Developments wants to bring Rockford what they have come to expect.

Q: Where’s the parking located and how many parking spaces are there?

A: There are approximately 300 parking spaces that are strategically located on the West side of the development. This allows for maximum exposure and Perryville Rd frontage that is important to the tenants.

 

Q: Why do the beautifully designed buildings zig zag?

A: During design and research phase of A Perryville Place, elements of Rockford were to be implemented. The buildings “zig zag” because it is symbolizing the flow of the Rock River. Same concept applies on how the beautiful undulating hills captured in the landscape represent the gorgeous golf courses and parks of Rockford.

 

Q: For such a grand development, what is the heating and cooling system?

A: One of the main concepts of health and wellness that surround A Perryville Place directly relates to the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air, and Cooling) system. The heating and cooling system are similar to the standard of a hospital, where fresh air can be constantly brought in to ventilate and provide a work environment that stimulates higher worker productivity.
